So This is Christmas Fair Round Up & Total Raised for St Barnabas

UncategorizedNo commentsDecember 11, 2018Claire

Thank you so much to everyone who visited and took part in our So This is Christmas fair on Sun 2nd Dec.

We hope you enjoyed the day and we are very pleased to announce the fair raised £3,392.68 for St Barnabas! This is our highest ever total and they are extremely pleased with the amount raised. This fair is our biggest of the year and is organised in conjunction with The Northbrook Friends of St Barnabas Group.

This takes our total raised for St Barnabas since Dec 2015 to £17,141.26 which we are incredibly proud of – it is already helping make a difference in the hospice.

The photos of the day have been beautifully captured by Sam Pharoah Photography. A selection follow below and view our full album over on Facebook here.

The fair was held at Worthing Charmandean and featured 70 talented stall holders.

It was opened by Arundel Town Crier, Worthing Mayor & Mayoress, The Sussex Ghostbusters, Northbrook Friends of St Barnabas volunteers, Barnabee Bee, Elfy Beanz, Storm Troopers and Miss International.

Patcham Youth Silver Band played for us in the entrance.

Elfy Beanz greeted children and Tick Boom face painting helped to bring the fairy tales to life and Anna and Elsa from Wish Upon a FairyTale stopped by.

The hall was filled with an array of talented makers and handmade festive gifts.

The Sussex Ghostbusters joined us for the day too!

As did Santa and his elf.

Home baked treats were provided from Bunston Bakes and the Singing Chef Johnny of Vice Puddings.

East & West Sussex Rock Choir performed for us twice during the afternoon.

Magic Martin and his assistant Nicky joined us for the day with balloon modelling and a touch of magic.

The Northbrook friends of St Barnabas held their stalls and raffle.

We hope you enjoyed the day and have a wonderful Christmas!

We look forward to returning to Worthing Charmandean for our Easter fair on Sunday 14th April 2019 – pop the date in your diary now!
