Today we introduce Printed.com who we are proud to say are one of our Christmas 2016 sponsors. We’re sure many of you have used Printed.com before – they are great for business cards, flyers, stickers and more and do all sorts of beautiful papers and finishes.

If you’ve not heard of them or visited their site before then we thought you’d like to get to know them a little more first…

We’d love to know a little more about printed.com and where it all began?

The story of printed.com starts with a man named Nick Green who launched printed.com in October 2011.

In 5 years we have worked on some amazing projects like the launch of luxury papers, our industry-unique Reward Programme in 2012, the Wedding Collection in 2013, the Photography Collection in 2014, a litho printing option in 2015, a VIP Club called ‘Pink Plus’ for our top customers in Spring 2016, and dedicated collections for retail, exhibition and education customers throughout this year. Not content with all that, to date we have launched an incredible 90 products. Phew!

It’s important to make friends, so we spent a lot of time building relationships with hotshots like the British Airways Executive, Amazon.co.uk, iStock and M&S, where our customers can redeem reward points with them, or enjoy free printing with us.

printed.com became an award-winning company that achieved phenomenal growth despite its humble beginnings. And the story is far from over – especially with an ever-growing range of paper stocks. Everyone expects silk gloss, uncoated and recycled to be available. However, we have a range of different coloured paper for white ink printing, textured papers for the ‘tactile’ types, specialist paper for photography prints, as well as functional tearproof and magnetic paper, through to luxury papers typically with an iridescent or metallic look. printed.com continues to expand and evolve, reaching new targets and meeting new faces. Hold onto your hats, we’re only just getting started!

What is the best thing about working at printed.com?

Fulfilling customers’ print needs and being able to see their incredible creations is a great part of the job. It’s really rewarding when customers tweet us or show us their orders in all their glory. Also we think our team is pretty awesome!

Do you have a best-selling product?

With such a wide range of products on offer, it is hard to say. Traditional print products such as saddle stitched and perfect bound brochures, as well as business cards, postcards and greeting cards are always very popular. But what is certain is that customers come to us when they need printing that they can mix and match the paper stocks and finishes on, and make each design stand out. We pride ourselves in being innovative and launching new papers and products regularly.

Are you looking forward to the Christmas season and what do you love most about Christmas?

Creativity really ramps up during the festive season, and we get to see all the incredible work our customers are producing, so that’s really special. It’s like we have a behind the scenes snapshot of Christmas, and we always feel really privileged that customers use us at such an important time of the year, for things like corporate gifts such as new year calendars, Christmas cards, wrapping and more. We also like a good Christmas jumper and a big roast, so we are all about Chrimbo!

We’re excited to have you as one of our Christmas 2016 sponsors, what made you choose The Fairy Tale Fair to work with?

Well we really like supporting the creative industries, and this was a great opportunity to mingle with designers, illustrators, stationers and a whole host of other independent retailers. The Fairy Tale Fair looks beautiful, and who doesn’t want to visit the beautiful south coast where your fairs are held?! We can’t wait to visit, and your name was obviously very hard to resist!

Do you have a motto or inspirational quote?

Our customers tend to print some really inspirational quotes, so we have plenty to make us smile every day. However, we live by our motto, ‘click, print, deliver’, as we aim to be simple and easy to do business with. And we tend to say ‘go forth and conquer’ a lot, especially with the busy festive season coming up. That tends to always motivate us.
