Hello lovely people! My name is Maggie, I am the owner and maker behind September Jewel Box.
September Jewel Box is a project I started to improve my mental health and I am lucky enough to continue with all the support from everybody over the years.
I use pearls, gold filled and sterling silver metals to create your jewellery. Irregular pearls are my favourite because they are so unique-just like us! Gold filled and sterling silver make jewellery last much longer than gold plated so they are more sustainable but also affordable. I also love to do creative designs depending on the shape of the pearls, this means lots of pieces are unique one-off items. Every jewellery piece is handcrafted with attention and love in my studio in Brighton
How would you describe your style and your creations?
I would love to say my works are dainty and chic-perfect for everyday wear but also good for special occasions.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
Can I say I enjoy every aspect of my work? I love spending a lot of time in front of my studio desk making pieces. It is so therapeutic. I also love trading in markets/fairs because I get to talk to customers face to face (I also made some good friends via these events!) It is also very good when I receive positive feedback from customers (for example, I was over the moon when I knew some brides wore my pieces on their wedding day!)
What can we expect to find on your stall at So This is Christmas on Sunday 7th December at Worthing Charmandean? And are you looking forward to taking part?
You will find a lot of new pieces in my stalls at So This Is Christmas Fair, some of these are not on my website yet as I love to make off-line customers feel special! This is the first time I take part in this event and I am very excited about it!
Do you have a best seller?
My best sellers are the star pearl pendant earrings and mini rice pearl rings
Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?
In the future I am planning to work with independent shops and get my pieces displayed and sold there. I also plan to organise some jewellery making workshops.
