Planning on visiting our Christmas craft and design market this Sunday 11th December? Here are a few more details of what’s on throughout the day. We’ll be open from 11am – 4pm so be sure to pop in and not miss out on the fun.
Almost 50 craft, design and makers stalls. (all day)
Come and meet our fabulous makers. Many of them are local and some have travelled from London, Devon and beyond just to be with us for one day. Shop local and avoid the high street stress and queues!
Face Painting (all day)
(located near the loading bay in the centre of the market)
This will be provided by Tick Boom Face Painting. She will be at all our Christmas fairs and creates wonderful free hand designs without stencils for truly magical faces. Great to bring the fairy tales to life. Not just for kids either!
Free kids craft table (all day / until items run out)
(located in the centre of the market)
We’ll have a table of festive themed craft items for the kids to sit and make creations and colour at. Have a browse of all our wonderful makers stalls and see if the kids are inspired to design their own. The craft table is free so please be kind, share the items, and leave your area as you found it. Please don’t make a mess for others to clear, and children should be supervised at all times. All materials will be provided however items such as scissors and glue are limited so bring your own if you can.
Live Performances (12 – 2pm)
We’ll have a selection of singers performing for you at the fair between 12 and 2pm. The schedule is as follows and click on any of them to find out more and hear them sing:
At 2.15pm in the centre of the market we’ll have story time with Marielle in the centre of the market. She’ll be reading traditional fairy tales such as The Snow Queen. We’ll have some hay bales but you may want to bring a blanket or a small cushion too to get snuggly and comfortable.
Permanent shops, cafes and galleries (all day)
Don’t forget to stop by the markets permanent shops and cafes that surround our stalls on the outer edge of the market and either ends. There are some lovely cafes, home grown produce, toys, books, florist, wine, a deli and lots more. Many of them are opening this Sunday especially for the fair.
