Today we are pleased to introduce Jo and Adam of Four Hands Etched Glass for the first time to our fair. They will join us on Sunday 1st December at Worthing Charmandean. Find out more about them ahead of the day…
Please introduce yourself and your brand….
We are Jo and Adam, AKA Four Hands Etched Glass.
What began 25 years ago on a kitchen table has grown into a journey that has taken us to some of the UK’s most prestigious craft and design fairs. Along the way, we’ve created many bespoke works & partnered with LSA International on notable commissions for esteemed clients including The Royal Academy of Art, The House of Lords, The Barbican Centre, and etching the GQ Magazine Food & Drink Awards 2023.
Our journey has been fuelled by a passion for glass, creativity, & conscientiousness. We aim to provide customers with unique pieces that either add a little beauty to their home or are thoughtful gifts for loved ones. We hope each piece we etch embodies our commitment to style & quality.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
Our creations are very much driven by the countryside as well as our coastal surroundings. The pieces themselves are crisp, elegant, functional & contemporary. We do enjoy going off piste too & experimenting with a more abstract mind to create one off designs.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
We most enjoy working for ourselves & with each other but selling something we’ve created that a customer is willing to part with their hard earned money for is very rewarding. Hearing feedback when a piece has really lifted someone’s spirits is a joy.
What can we expect to find on your stall at So This is Christmas on Sunday 1st December at Worthing Charmandean? And are you looking forward to taking part?
We’ll have plenty of etched glass pieces (tumbler, wine & champagne glasses, vases, teaights & more) at very affordable prices, hopefully we can make your Christmas shopping that little bit easier this year.
We are delighted to be exhibiting at Worthing Charmandean this December, we really enjoy showcasing our work so close to our home & St Barnabas Hospice is such an invaluable support to those in need & it’s a pleasure to be contributing in a small way to their work.
Do you have a best seller?
Our globe tealights have been in our top 3 sellers every year, only outstripped by our Bottle Coasters which have been No.1 for several years now.
Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?
Our plans are to keep doing what makes us & our customers happy whilst being mindful of & enjoying our amazing planet
Do you have a motto or inspirational quote?
Work Hard & Be Nice to People…………A quote we have in our home by a fellow artist.
Describe your Christmas in 3 words…
Us, Peaceful, Happy
