Meet Sarah who joins us this Sunday 3rd December at Worthing Charmandean…
Please introduce yourself and your brand….
Hi I’m Sarah at Lavender & Seasalt. I’m a textile/mixed media artist and maker inspired by the coast and natural world around me.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
I have a quirky and colourful style which leads me to make a range of coastal and nature inspired gifts and art. I love experimenting and learning new techniques to use in my work.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I love the fact that I can play with new ideas and then see a customer’s face click with my idea. Even when something doesn’t go right, it often leads to another inspiration. It never feels like work!
What can we expect to find on your stall at So This is Christmas on Sunday 3rd December at Worthing Charmandean? And are you looking forward to taking part?
I am bringing a range of handmade coastal inspired art and textile goods, including my lavender items and a range of special Christmas gift sets and decorations.
I am so looking forward to taking part at Worthing. It has a great Christmassy vibe to start December with.
Do you have a best seller?
My best sellers are my Lavender Mergirls and fish. Although at Christmas my cheeky little elves absolutely fly!
Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?
I have been working on a set of new workshops for 2024 to add to my current ones, and I am looking forward to helping people enjoy experimenting with the techniques they’ll cover. I am always planning new gift ideas as and when I can.
Do you have a motto or inspirational quote?
My mantra is – See the beauty in the small things and spread a little joy every day.
