Prime3D is a small family business consisting of Mum (Chez), Dad (Leigh), and our two children Bella and Harvey. It all began when we brought our 8-year-old son a 3D printer for his birthday. We all became instantly hooked by the possibilities it brings in advancing the way we live our lives. From saving money, printing personalised gifts for friends, family and teachers, to beautiful 3D printed articulated dragons.
We saw a market for such personalised and unique gifts, and an opportunity to teach our children what it takes to start and run a business. They are the force behind Prime3D, from designing and printing our products, to making our social media images and videos.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
Prime3D offers unique and quirky gifts for all ages and occasions with endless possibilities of what can be printed. All items can be personalised and customised. We are also an Authorised Seller of the designer CinderWing, who designs the most amazing articulated mythical creatures which is one of Harvey’s favourite products to print.
At Prime 3D we are also conscious of the materials that we use, making sure we are as Eco-friendly as possible. Using mainly PLA plastic which is biodegradable having been made from vegetable waste!
What do you enjoy most about your work?
The best part of our work is bringing people’s imagination to life!
What can we expect to find on your stall at So This is Christmas on Sunday 3rd December at Worthing Charmandean? And are you looking forward to taking part?
We will be bringing a selection of products ranging from Christmas decorations to unique gifts, all of which can be personalised.
Do you have a best seller?
We are still such a new company having only started a few months ago, but so far, our best sellers are our Articulated Gemstone Dragon, and our plant pots.
Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?
We are always looking for new products to design and print to help solve everyday problems, or make life easier, alongside designing and creating products for all occasions that are not in your high street shops.
Do you have a motto or inspirational quote?
We tell our children to ‘keep dreaming, keep believing, and do what you love’
Our children came up with Prime3D’s motto which is ‘Print your imagination!”
