Say hello to… Charlotte’s Sussex Pickles & Preserves

Today we introduce Charlotte who will be joining us this Sunday 4th December at Worthing Charmandean.

I am Charlotte from Charlotte’s Sussex Pickles & Preserves, homemade jams,marmalades,chutneys and relishes. We are very traditional in our style of jars and lids.along with traditional recipes using many homegrown fruit and veg or locally sourced. The jams are traditional in taste, hopefully reminding people of “Grandma’s” and the chutneys varying in flavours from fresh and cool to hot and spicy. I love watching the children’s when they taste the strawberry jam!! and the comments about the different pickles as everyone has different tastes,a happy customer makes it all worthwhile.

Im really looking forward to the fair on 4th Dec,on the stall we will have samples of all the produce for people to try before they buy.along with large and small jute bags containing jars of your choice,which make ideal Christmas gifts..Along with some sugar -free jams which are suitable for diabetics

I cant honestly say that I have a best seller as customers tastes vary so much,but my local pub The Village House in findon regularly order Cucumber Relish and Courgette Chutney.
I hope to expand out to a wider area doing more fairs and farmers markets and im hoping to supply to a few more local pubs and deli’s.

My motto is “” Work hard but have fun along the way”.
I love being with my family and friends at Christmas time,good company good food and the magic of Christmas.
