Say Hello to… Incey Wincey Studio

Hand CraftedNo commentsMarch 28, 2019Claire

In our final stall holder interview for our Easter fair at Worthing Charmandean this Sunday 14th April we meet Incey Wincey Studio. Find out more ahead of the day…

Please introduce yourself and your brand…..

Hello! I’m Claire from Incey Wincey Studio. I live in Worthing, with my husband and two daughters.
Incey Wincey Studio is made on a small scale, in a small space with a big heart.

How would you describe your style and your creations?

I would say that my style is understated, and this is probably transferred into my work with the addition of some colour on the way!

What do you enjoy most about your work?

I love my work! I like to do a bit of everything! At the moment I’m really enjoying choosing colour and print combinations and stitching with a coordinating thread. I am loving hand printing some of my drawings too!

What can we expect to find on your stall at The Fairy Tale Fair Easter Special in aid of St Barnabas on Sunday 14th April? Are you looking forward to taking part?

I am really looking forward to Easter with The Fairy Tale Fair. I took part for the first time last Christmas and it was fantastic, a great atmosphere with lots of wonderful stalls and people. I love meeting and talking to people!
Just in time for the Spring sunshine I’ll have my Liberty fabric hair bows.
I will have my Liberty and wool felt brooches, and glasses and phone cases with me. Also I will have my screen printed and appliqué cards.

Do you have a best seller?

My Liberty fabric and Wool Felt Brooches are my current best seller but the glasses and phone cases are proving popular too!

Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?

After recently finding my love of drawing again, I have been hand printing my designs, firstly onto cards and then fabric. I plan to eventually dye my own fabric with plants.

Do you have a motto or inspirational quote?

“Smile and the world smiles with you.”

What part of Easter do you enjoy the most?

I love spending time with my family and not needing to justify eating chocolate before breakfast!!
