Please introduce yourself and your brand….
Tango Rose is a new brand established to promote wellbeing through imaginative play. Our company is a unique collaboration between two friends – Rachel and Miri. Coming from very different backgrounds, Rachel is an illustrator and Miri recently finished her Physics PhD. We joined forces in the hope of creating something very special. Our products are designed to engage and spark the imagination of children and anyone who is a ‘child at heart’.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
Our characters and designs celebrate imagination, playfulness and the little joys of life. Both natural and magical creatures are brought to life with playful interpretations. We currently have two ranges – ‘Tango Teeny’ features naively illustrated animals, reflecting the sweetness and simplicity of the world as it is perceived through a toddler’s eyes. Our ‘Tango-tastic’ range is infused with fairytale magic, drawing inspiration from tales as old as time and created with our modern interpretation.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
The opportunity to develop something we are truly passionate about. Imaginative play is an amazing opportunity to learn skills, build confidence and encourage curiosity. Alongside developing our products, we are creating an online portal to feature free content and activities that will focus on empowerment, well being and positive communication for children and parents.
What can we expect to find on your stall at The Fairy Tale Fair Easter Special in aid of St Barnabas at Worthing Charmandean on Saturday 17th March? And are you looking forward to taking part?
We’re really looking forward to being a part of the event. We will be offering greeting cards, notebooks and babywear featuring our designs. We will also have some original artwork at very reasonable prices. We’ll be there too, and we look forward to welcoming and talking to our visitors.
Do you have a best seller?
We have a foxes greeting card that is particularly loved. I think it is because it represents love in its simplest form – just for that special someone in our lives.
Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?
We have big plans. Our brand is young and we have more ideas than we have time to implement. Our goal is to develop content and activities that are fun and exciting for children alongside promoting values that parents truly care about. We want to be widely recognised as a fun yet reliable brand – we want parents to trust us and children to be inspired by us.

What part of Easter do you enjoy the most?
Spring is such joyous time – a celebration of life itself. We love the excitement of Easter egg hunts and of course – chocolate!
