Please introduce yourself and your brand….
I’m a Brighton based Painter & Printmaker.
I also make Filigree Jewellery & Decorative Wire Creations for your home and garden.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
My work is about mood, atmosphere & colour. It reflects my main artistic passions – my fondness for all kinds of animals and my exploration of more abstractly rendered seas, skies & landscapes.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
As both a Fine Artist & a Printmaker, I blur the boundaries between the two, mixing media within each image; often adding collage, watercolour, acrylic, and pen & ink to my paintings, etchings, collagraphs, linocuts and giclée prints. The influence of each medium plays an important part in determining the character of the final piece.
Enjoying the process of creation and allowing myself the freedom to experiment keeps my work fresh and exciting.
What can we expect to find on your stall at The Fairy Tale Fair Brighton this Spring? And are you looking forward to taking part?
I will be showing my etchings, collagrahs, fine art giclee prints and cards alongside my filigree jewellery and wire creations.
Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?
Now that I have my new studio, I am enjoying having the space to create and build up a collection to market online as well as show in person.
Describe what Easter is to you in 10 words or less:
Montezuma’s Egg, hubby’s delicious roasts, family walks with the dogs.
Do you have a motto or inspirational quote?
“They must often change who would be constant in happiness or wisdom” Confucius.
How can we find out more about you?
Any other comments:
I’ve heard lots of good things about the Fairy Tale Fair from fellow makers so I’m really excitied to be a part of it for the first time this Easter!
