Today we welcome back Fairy Tale Fair regular Georgie Arts. This time they join us at Worthing Charmandean this Sunday 6th December. Read on to find out more about them…
Please introduce yourself and your brand….
Georgie Arts produces embroidered and beaded gifts, greetings and accessories.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
All our wares are colourful and highly textured with rich embellishment and sumptuous fabrics. Working in silks and velvets with hand dyed fabrics and threads every piece is hand made and finished to produce original and unusual gifts and treats.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
That every item is an individual. Although I make lots of notebooks or bags for instance, because each one is handmade the colours and finishes and embroidered designs will vary with my mood, the day, may be inspired by a mix of dye colours or many other variables. So each make is an adventure and exploration which I really enjoy.
What can we expect to find on your stall at So This is Christmas Worthing on December 6th? And are you looking forward to taking part?
I’m very excited to be taking part. With Christmas quickly approaching it’s going to be feeling very festive and the Fairytale Fair is always very welcoming and family friendly with lots of great stallholders to meet and goods to explore. Amongst the many items we will be bringing are Greetings cards, notebooks in a whole range of sizes, beautiful boxes, sumptuous evening and occasion bags, and our cute fairies and key-chains.
Do you have a motto or inspirational quote?
Not officially, but now you’ve put me on the spot I might say ‘Stitch with Kindness’.
How can we find out more about you?
We’re not big on the tech thing- too busy stitching most of the time, but we do have a website at www.georgiearts.co.uk and we’d love you to stop by.
Finally, we’d like to say we hope all the Customers, Artists, Crafters and organisers of the Fairytale Fair have a very merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you all on the 6th.
