We are pleased to welcome back Kat from Snorkers Imaginarium who took part in our last fair. Kat’s crochet items were certainly popular, and we can’t wait to see all her new creations…
“I absolutely loved the last Fairy Tale Fair – the atmosphere was just lovely, I met some fantastic people…”- Kat, Snorkers Imaginarium
Tell us a bit about you and what you do/ make….
I mainly crochet – anything from sea creatures to unicorns to Poirot :0) I also make crochet cushion covers and am dabbling in fabric and patchwork.
What festive gifts and creations will you be selling at The Fairy Tale Fair?
My main items for sale will be sea creatures (my little crochet octopus is my best seller and very popular especially with kids, so I will have plenty of those! Also cuttlefish, jellyfish and squid). I will also have plenty of other woolly beasts such as unicorns and piggies, and a selection of crochet hair clips and cushions for sale. In addition, I will be testing out a couple of new items – keyrings and a Stormtrooper teething rattle for babies. I will also of course have Hercule Poirot on display (although I have so many orders for him at the moment that he is currently available on a made-to-order basis).
You took part in our last Fairy Tale Fair, did you enjoy it and did you find your creations were popular with visitors?
I absolutely loved the last Fairy Tale Fair – the atmosphere was just lovely, I met some fantastic people (customers and stall holders) and had a very good day! It was my first time selling my little octopuses and I was really pleased with how well they sold.
Will you be taking part in other events over the festive period (fairs, open houses, markets etc…)?
I will be selling at Craftaganza on Saturday 8th December. Aside from that I have lots of private commissions to complete by Christmas so won’t be doing any other craft fairs until 2013 – check my website or facebook page for updates! I’m hoping to be involved in an Artists Open House next year but details for that are as yet unconfirmed.
