The Artists Open Houses as part of Brighton festival are in full swing, and this weekend will be the third weekend of four, so if you haven’t yet visited the houses then time is running out!
The artists houses provide a unique opportunity to meet the artists behind the art and have a nosey round their houses at the same time.
A few of our previous stall holders and fair organiser can be found in some of the houses too. We recommend:
The Cake House, 37 Cleveland Road, Fiveways (opposite Blakers Park). 11am-5pm.
– full of cute crafts, art, jewellery, vintage finds and of course wonderful cake!
Find previous Fairy Tale Fair stall holders Cat-a-Cake Creations, Amie Boswell, Clair Letton and Fiona Edwards in this house!
The Dog House, 15 Hampstead Road, Brighton. Dyke Road Trial. 11am-6pm.
– A large and varied house with over 20 artists exhibiting. Find art, textiles, collage, jewellery, gifts, ceramics, homewares and much more! Also tea and cake in the 3rd floor open plan terrace room overlooking the garden!
