We’re excited to announce the line up for our free craft workshops at our Happily Ever After Creative Wedding Fair at Brighton Racecourse on Sunday the 12th March. Not got your tickets yet? Grab them here.
All workshops are provided for free by our talented makers and designers. You will be provided with all equipment and materials you need too. The workshops will each have space for 12 – 18 participants and will run for approx 45 minutes. They will be drop in and drop out, so some people will finish quickly allowing others to join a little later. Our makers will be on hand to guide you through the process.
The workshops will be a great opportunity to learn DIY craft makes for your wedding or hen do or be great inspiration for some ideas you want to unleash for the big day or hen do activities. Each of our makers provide these workshops professionally and they will give you their details at the end should you want to enquire to book them for a hen party or future gathering.
Jewellery Charm Making with Tiny Treat Boutique 11am – 11.45pm
Join us for a taster workshop and try out a unique hen party activity! Come and make fun, individual jewellery for your wedding party, from necklaces to lapel pins to hair accessories! You’ll choose from a selection of charms, from delicious donuts to inviting ice cream cones, then select a pic ’n’ mix of polymer clay colours, decorations and glitter to decorate and assemble your own jewellery. Wedding Invitation Printing with Scarlett Rebecca 12pm – 12.45pm
Calling all Creative Couples and DIY Brides. Learn the art of lino cutting to produce your own unique designs for your wedding stationery, whether it’s save the dates, thank you cards or the invitations themselves. In this taster workshop you will gain an insight into my full workshop that I run for couples at my central Brighton Studio. You will have the chance to carve out a simple design into lino and make some prints to take home with you as a memento of the session. Petal Dress Artwork with Georgie St Clair – 1pm – 1.45pm
Participants will be creating petal dress artwork from flowers with swarovski crystal details, to present as a gift or to keep to adorn their walls. You’ll have the choice of using real or fake petals. The workshop can last on average 45 minutes, depending on how detailed you want to be! It’s a wonderfully relaxing activity and also very easy to create a beautiful piece of art simply using petals and leaves. Make your own Tissue Paper Pom Poms with Chic ‘n’ Cheerful – 2pm – 2.45pm
Learn to create beautiful paper pom poms from just a few sheets of tissue paper, to decorate your venue. From mini Pom poms for place settings, to ceiling decorations and more! Find out more about Chic ‘n’ Cheerful.
Beginners Bridal Weaving Workshop – 3pm – 3.45pm
Join us for a relaxing beginners weaving workshop, make your own mini wall-hanging and learn the basic techniques from our crafty team. Choose from a wide selection of coloured wool to suit your interior design aesthetics or your wedding colours.
