We thought it was about time you found out a little more about our lovely sponsors of our Happily Ever After Creative Wedding Fair.
Along with Doily Days we are pleased to have WOW Our Wedding and Love Sussex Weddings supporting our fair.
WOW Our Wedding is the new national wedding blog and directory from the team behind Love Sussex Weddings.
Love Sussex Weddings is a wedding blog, website and online directory for Sussex featuring real-life creative and lovely Sussex weddings. Lovingly written in Brighton for anyone planning a wedding in Sussex.
WOW Our Wedding launched in January 2017, is the new big sister website to Love Sussex Weddings and is made up of 37 Local Wedding Blogs featuring real-life weddings from across the UK. It also includes blogs on both destination weddings and wedding ideas and a UK wedding directory.
WOW Our Wedding‘s focus is on couples doing their big day in their own unique way. From creative, crazy and budget friendly weddings to lavish, luxe and personal weddings, each Local Wedding Blog links to a local directory so that trusted suppliers (from customised confetti and cake makers, to photographers and photo-booths) are easy to find.
WOW Our Wedding has been launched following the success of Love Sussex Weddings, founded by Liz in 2012. Liz, who has a background in digital content design, developed Love Sussex Weddings when she saw a need for a wedding blog with a local county focus to enable couples to get ideas, inspiration and suppliers for their wedding direct from their wedding area:
“We all love to see other peoples’ weddings because as well as being joyful events, they help us think about what kind of wedding would suit us. For many of us planning a wedding is daunting, as we’ve never done it before, so, these real-life weddings, with their unique style, quirky personal touches and attention to detail are inspirational. If we like what they’ve done we want to know how they’ve done it, who the photographer was, where the venue is, or, where they got the cake? It was a logical step to put all of these stories together into a beautiful blog alongside links to wedding venues and suppliers in the area.”
Liz continues: “One of the main reasons Love Sussex Weddings has been successful is because of it’s local focus. Once a couple has decided to get married in Sussex the blog is full of ideas and insider tips from recent newlyweds about all the different places and styles of wedding that are possible. We feature everything from a punk wedding on Brighton’s iconic beachfront, to rustic romance in an historic Sussex barn. Sitting alongside it we have a directory to make sure ideas and suppliers are easy to follow up. The idea behind WOW Our Wedding is to extend that local approach to all the other regions in the country.”
Liz and the team at WOW Our Wedding are actively seeking couples from across Sussex and the UK to be featured. The team would also like to hear from wedding venues, wedding photographers or other wedding suppliers who feel they have the wedding WOW factor.
