Today we can’t wait to find out more about Jade (of Jade Silver) and her nature and fantasy inspired silver jewellery…
Please introduce yourself and your brand….
Hello! I’m Jade and I create unique silver jewellery. I design and sculpt everything digitally from my home studio in Brighton with the help of my co-worker pups, Bunny and Nova. My models are then 3D printed in resin and cast in sterling silver. Each item is hand finished in my Dads small shop on the beautiful Cornish coast.
How would you describe your style and your products?
My passion is making beautiful pieces inspired by nature, animals and mythology – tiny sculptures that people can wear, love and treasure forever! I try to do all I can to produce jewellery that is environmentally friendly and follows the principles of ‘slow fashion’. This means that everything I make is designed and made to last and be worn for many years.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I really enjoy being able to turn a digital sculpture into something that I can actually hold. I originally learnt digital sculpting with the intention of making characters for video games but this tangibility was something that I really missed. I also love hearing customers feedback! It’s amazing to be able to make someone’s day with something that I have put so much care and love into creating.
Do you have a best seller or favourite to make?
My best seller is definitely my fruit bats. I think this is because it’s a cuter more delicate spin on an unusual animal that’s more often featured in bolder gothic style jewellery.
What are your plans or ambitions for the future?
I would love to continue doing what I am doing and grow my business even further so that it because a more stable source of income. I also really want to branch into dog breed jewellery and pets too as I’m a huge dog lover!
Sum up your brand in 3 words…
Intricate, cute, everlasting
