Today we’re pleased to introduce a fair newbie, Georgia Camden who we can’t wait to have this Sunday at Worthing Charmandean…
Please introduce yourself and your brand….
Hi, I’m Georgia Camden I am an illustrator and designer, recently returned to Southsea after spending the last 27 years in Australia. I spent my childhood growing in the tropics of Far North Queensland, where the wild jungles, beautiful oceans and quirky creatures have influenced my creations. However, the rolling hills, cobbled lanes and celtic folklore have drawn me back to explore my heritage. I create whimsical art prints and quirky greeting cards, as well as working with clients to create personalised portraits and murals for Nurseries.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
As I learn new skills and new influences I think my style will evolve how I my voice as an illustrator is that I want to create a feeling of magic and wonder. I enjoy using different art mediums, from sculpture and traditional painting learned during years of fine arts studies – to the current digital canvas. Using my Ipad Pro, I’m able to travel with around the world, creating illustrations whilst camping in the Swiss Alps or the mountains of Hokkaido, Japan.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
Creating things which give others joy. I’ve always loved giving presents so being able to make something which other people can buy and give as presents to spread happiness makes me very happy!

I love this quote. “ A comfort zone is a beautiful place but nothing ever grows there” – Author Unknown
And this poem by Guillaume Apollinaire
“Come to the edge,” he said.
“We can’t, we’re afraid!” they responded.
“Come to the edge,” he said.
“We can’t, We will fall!” they responded.
“Come to the edge,” he said.
And so they came.
And he pushed them.
And they flew.”
