Today we’ve a yummy treat for you, meet Hardy’s Fudge who you’ll find at Worthing Charmandean this Sunday 14th April…
Please introduce yourself and your brand….
Hi I’m Rachel and I am Hardy’s Fudge. I started making fudge when my daughter announced she needed a gift for her teacher so I had to raid my cupboards and Pinterest and came up with everything I needed for something and that turned out to be Oreo Fudge. It went down a storm and has grown from there. I now have over 20 flavours and always looking for more.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
Homemade, bite sized pieces of yumminess.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I enjoy creating new flavours of fudge and meeting lots of people at the fairs. I love watching people happily tuck into my fudge.
What can we expect to find on your stall at The Fairy Tale Fair Easter Special in aid of St Barnabas at Worthing Charmandean on Sunday 14th April? And are you looking forward to taking part?
I am really looking forward attending my first Fairy Tale Fair. I’ll be bringing over 20 flavours of my homemade fudge including 3 vegan flavours.
Do you have a best seller?
It often varies, but Salted Caramel and Baileys are always a big hit.
Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?
Well that’s a big question. It would be lovely to earn enough from fudge that I can give up the day job. One day!!!
Do you have a motto or inspirational quote?
Not really, however a little bit of something naughty is always good.
What part of Easter do you enjoy the most?
Family time is important and work often means the amount of family time isn’t what we’d like. We always have the Easter weekend with family and the children love the Easter Egg Hunts, solving the clues to find the hidden treasure.
How can we find out more about you?
I don’t have a website but I do have Facebook and instagram.
