Today we welcome Little Pickle Store for the first time who we welcome next Sunday 14th April at Worthing Charmandean…
Please introduce yourself and your brand….
Hi I’m Charlotte, the one woman band behind the Little Pickle Store. I design and make personalised prints for a variety of occasions and I also design imagery and slogans that are printed for me by a sustainable factory onto organic cotton t-shirts, hoodies and tote bags.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
I have a clean, simplistic, contemporary style that I believe creates a stylish piece of home decor or clothing that is both unique and on-trend.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I love creating bespoke work. As I make personalised prints, each one is different and I really enjoy making something that is going to be given as a special gift for someone. It’s a great feeling knowing what you’re creating is going to give someone joy.
What can we expect to find on your stall at The Fairy Tale Fair Easter Special in aid of St Barnabas at Worthing Charmandean on Sunday 14th April? And are you looking forward to taking part?
I visited the Fairy Tale Christmas Fair at Patcham last year with my three little pickles and we loved the eclectic range of handmade products on show. I’m so happy I am going to be among such a fantastic group of makers. I’ll have a range of my framed personalised prints on display for you to check out and I’ll also have a fab new range of unpersonalised digital prints ready to purchase and take home on the day. There will be a few new designs in there with a Spring/Easter theme too and a small range of clothing and totes to purchase or order.
Do you have a best seller?
The personalised Heart print in the square box frame is my most popular print to date. It works as a unique gift for so many different occasions but mostly it has been given as a wedding or anniversary gift. My very own ‘Just Breathe’ slogan t-shirt has proved popular too from the fashion side of the business which I’m really proud of.
Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?
As my the Little Pickle Store is very new I’m hoping to continue to grow it into a successful venture that allows me to do what I love as a job. I’ve just launched my Etsy shop so to get people to my store and thinking of Little Pickle as their go to gift would be amazing.
Do you have a motto or inspirational quote?
My new motto in life is to ‘do what makes you happy’, life is too short and I think we need to fill it with doing the things that we truly enjoy doing with and for the people we love.
What part of Easter do you enjoy the most?
I have three young girls that absolutely love the excitement of Easter egg hunts and chocolate which gives me a great excuse to indulge as I am a self confessed chocoholic. The little pickles will be coming along to the Fairy Tale Fair too so I’ll enjoy being able to ‘work’ and watch them have a great time on the day.
