Today we catch up with Jackie of Neat Treats. She joined us for the first time earlier this year at our creative wedding fair. Hello. My name is Jackie Neat and I’m the owner of Neat Treats. I make a selection of homemade fudge and marshmallow and other goodies. If you follow me already your know that I love to have fun with my work. It generally involves; Gin, Unicorns, Mermaids, Prosecco, Coffee and anything pretty.
I love that I get the be creative with no limits. The quirkier the better. This is definitely not your average fudge & marshmallows ♡ I’m a huge (massive) Brighton lover and have just recently started travelling there to take part in some events from my home in Southampton.
I’m extremely excited about The Fairy Tale Fair Brighton Fringe Special, so much so that I’m currently working on a special “Treat” that will be exclusively launched at this event.
My best seller from my fudge range would have to be between my Gin & Lime Fudge and my Unicorn cookie dough fudge. Popular marshmallows seem to be my Strawberry swirl & my Prosecco marshmallow.
My dream and my goal is to have a shop in Brighton. Something small. Where people can come and be kind to themselfs, drink coffee (or chai) and enjoy a peaceful yet fun space while I serve them flamboyant treats.
I have always loved the quote “If you don’t like where you are, move you are not a tree”. I love the community that I live in but my heart is in Brighton. It may take time but I’m on my way.
