Please introduce yourself and your brand…..
My name is Katie and I’m a mum of 2 gorgeous young boys. I graduated from Salisbury in 2006 with a BA hons in Fashion.
One day my son has his friend over, they were dressing up but didn’t have any masks….. I made them a Spider-Man mask, from here this is where my sew me up brand grew!!!
Tell us a bit about your creations and how you make them….
I design my masks onto paper and from there transfer them to felt and use my trusty sewing machine to start creating!
How long have you been making your creations?
I started in June 2012 at my sons school summer fair.
Do you have a best seller or most popular item?
It can range on the day but mostly superhero masks I’d say.
What do you enjoy most about your craft/ work?
I love making them but I do love seeing children’s faces light up and get excited about all the different masks! I also love all the positive feedback from both adults and kiddies.
Will you be selling some festive themed creations at The Fairy Tale Fair?
Most definitely!!!! Santa and reindeer masks and Christmas crowns!!!! Might even get some stocking in too!
What are your plans or ambitions for the future, or have you already achieved them?
I would love to have a little shop, it has always been my dream!!!
