Hi my name is Ruth Caig. At StitchKits I primarily create Cross Stitch Kits. Creating fresh, beautiful, cross stitch designs to inspire the contemporary crafter. I draw on my experience as a painter by carefully selecting the colour pallets that form the starting point for each design.
As an Artist I have put a lot of thought in to all aspects of my kits. They contain everything the recipient needs to recreate my designs. They are prettily hand packaged in a gift style paper bag (or Box) and tied with a pretty polka dot bow. As a special fair promotion all kits will come with a lovely, free wooden embroidery hoop!!!
In preparation for the Christmas gifting season I have been busy developing a range of hand stitched ‘Embroidery Hoop Art’. These will be available in a range of designs and sizes. They are lovingly hand stitched to a high quality finish and sold in presentation boxes making them perfect gifts.
As you are all getting ready for Christmas, look out for the other lovely bits and bobs on sale on my stall. I will be stoking my range of‘ with Love’ craft ribbons, essential for enhancing your own Christmas makes & bakes. You will also find Ideal stocking fillers such as traditional knitting dolly’s, travel sewing kit in tins, hand painted twine dolly’s, traditional paper chain decorations and much more…..
Prior to StitchKits I studied Fine Art as a mature student at Wimbledon School of art. I was living and working in London as an artist until a recent move brought me home to Brighton. I look forward to meeting you all at the upcoming fairs.
