Say hello to… Anna’s Drawing Room

BrightonNo commentsNovember 5, 2015Claire

Today we catch up with Fairy Tale Fair regular Anna of Anna’s Drawing room. Find out what she has in store for Christmas 2015. You can meet her in person at our fair on November 15th at our Brighton Open Market fair.

Please introduce yourself and your brand….

-Hello, my name is Anna Vartiainen, and my company is Anna’s Drawing Room. I make art prints, eco-friendly cards and gifts for nature-lovers.

How would you describe your style and your creations?

-My plant and bird designs are in a clean, linear style, drawn either in pen or with a brush and ink. The hand-drawn pieces become prints or patterns for my nature-inspired creations!

What do you enjoy most about your work?

-Simple observation drawings, the beginning part, I absolutely love. But I also love making them into patterns, there is a bit of magic to it.

What can we expect to find on your stall at The Fairy Tale Fair Brighton this November? And are you looking forward to taking part?

-You will find eco-friendly cards, bold art prints, birdy tea towels and new this winter: gift wrap and bone china mugs!

Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?

– Yes, many plans and ambitions! My youngest is still very small though, so I’m taking my time.

Do you have a motto or inspirational quote?
