Today we welcome Kat of Four Little Walls. We look forward to welcoming her and her super cute dolls house furniture to our fair this Sunday at Worthing Charmandean.
Hello, Kat here from Four Little Walls!
I’m super excited to be joining The Fairy Tale Fair for So This Is Christmas, I’ve already got a Christmas shopping list for so many of the lovely stall holders!
We’re a dolls house and miniature obsessed web shop and blog, finding lots of joy in teeny tiny interiors, furniture and accessories.
Specialising in 1:12 scale products with adult collectors and older children in mind, we make and curate collections that we’d love in our full sized home.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
I like to keep Four Little Walls style eclectic, stylish and most of all, fun.
Sometimes I worry there’s too much pink in the furniture, but it’s balanced out by lots of other delicious colours and prints so there’s always something for everyone.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
It’s essentially playing, which is great!
I also have the ultimate Shop Squad!
My family and friends are so supportive of the whole venture; I literally couldn’t do it with out the help of my parents transporting us to the shows and fairs.
My Dad, Simon, is the resident Doll’s house builder, we’ve made a number of houses together in the last couple of years and are looking forward to bringing some new designs out next year.
What can we expect to find on your stall at So This is Christmas Worthing on December 6th? And are you looking forward to taking part?
I’ve been working hard on renovating a new ‘Show Home’ for So This Is Christmas event. Channelling our favourite shades of pastel pinks, greys and just a sprinkle of sparkle.
We’re also bringing out the ‘Treasure Book’ room boxes and little chalets; they’re a great gift idea if you don’t want to commit to the space of an entire Doll’s House!
Additionally there will be all manner of Christmas miniatures, furniture and accessories, from tiny bottlebrush trees and wallpapers perfect for craft projects, through to a tiny, hand sculpted Christmas dinner.
Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?
We’ve had a bit of a break from fairs during 2015 so I’m looking forward to getting out and about with the doll’s houses again in the New Year and developing some new furniture ranges. I’d also really love to expand our Children’s range and collaborate with some lovely designer makers on a couple of projects, watch this space!
