Please introduce yourself and your brand….
I am Sarah and I run Moon Tide Jewellery. Moon Tide Jewellery is a bohemian jewellery brand based in Brighton that celebrates you inner flower child. My jewellery has been made to wear at festivals, adventures, travels and the beach.
In my Etsy store I make necklaces with a variety of different chain styles or lengths. I let you choose what style or length you’d prefer so that you can create your ideal necklace! I also make a range of bracelets and earrings with different chain colour options too.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
I would describe my work as bohemian inspired adventure jewellery for gypsy souls. I use a lot of natural elements in my designs, such as crystals quartz, shells and semi-precious stones.
I love to add a splash of colour to outfits and my festival friendship jewellery which uses bright and colourful threads in pinks, blues and purples really helps achieve this!
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I love every aspect of running my jewellery business, but one thing I love the most is the freedom to create something new and beautiful everyday. I really enjoy taking photographs of my jewellery and getting creative in the studio.
Another thing in particular I love about having an Etsy store is that it is really exciting communicating with my customers all over the world!
What can we expect to find on your stall at The Fairy Tale Fair Brighton this May? And are you looking forward to taking part?
This will be my first Fairy Tale Fair, and I’m really looking forwards to it! You can expect to see delicate and whimsical crystal jewellery in silver, gold and rose gold at my stall. I will also have plenty of turquoise designs – they always seem to be popular with the locals!
I have been working on some festival friendly necklaces, bracelets, earrings and hand chains for the fair, and hope to have some more exclusive designs on the day too.
Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?
Plenty! The dream is to travel around all the festivals in a tipi bursting full to the seams with beautiful bohemian jewellery.
Do you have a motto or inspirational quote?
My jewellery has been made to wear on great adventures, so although there isn’t a specific quote I abide to there are plenty I follow that invokes the feeling of exploring and getting out in the great outdoors.
