Please introduce yourself and your brand….
Hi! I’m Katie and I’m the weird lady behind Peanut Illustrations. I recently graduated from university and I am perusing a career as a freelance illustrator. I enjoy designing cute stationary sets and wall decorations and I’m currently exploring drawing into wood.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
I would describe my style as colourful and very animal based. I also enjoy including minimalistic geometric shapes in my designs.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I enjoy being able to draw beautiful animals and call it (hopefully soon to be) my job. I also enjoy being able to explore different materials, for example wood and plastic for mark making.
What can we expect to find on your stall at So This is Christmas Worthing on December 6th? And are you looking forward to taking part?
I will be selling hand made Christmas cards, along with cute hand drawn decorations. I will also have keyrings and gift bundles that will be perfect for Christmas stockings.
I’m extremely excited for this fair as its my first since graduating from university. I hope to do many more after this.
Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?
My ambition is to be a successful freelance illustrator. I plan to attend many more craft fairs in the future, and approach independent shops to sell my work in.
