We are super excited to have booked The Close Shaves to come along to our fair. These 3 lovely girls will be singing vintage tunes throughout the day mainly in our cafe area. It is going to be wonderful to have live singers and make the day even more magical. They will be singing some festive tunes as well! Find out more about them…

Tell us a bit about The Close Shaves and how you formed….
We are friends who share a love of singing, close harmonies and great tunes from a bygone era. We’ve all been singing and playing in various bands and groups over the years. Eve invited us over to her house to sing through a song her mum had arranged and it blossomed from there!
How long have The Close Shaves been together?
That first get together was in January this year; we’ve been regularly rehearsing since April… so not long at all! We seem to be learning new songs every week and there’s always an arrangement in the pipe line.
What do you enjoy most about being in The Close Shaves?
When you sing a new arrangement for the first time and hear how it sounds together; nailing a difficult harmony; spending quality time doing something we love with people we love! Rehearsing can be hard work but we always end up having a laugh – singing makes you feel so good!
We are looking forward to having you at The Fairy Tale Fair- do you know what type of songs you’ll be singing?
There will be some familiar acapella tunes (with a twist) and some Christmas songs which we’re arranging especially for the fair! You’ll have to come along to the cafe to find out for yourself..!
