Today we warmly welcome back Chloe from The Silver Hut, now a regular at our fairs! We first met Chloe from The Silver Hut at our first Fairy Tale Fair back in the summer, and we are lucky enough to have her and her beautiful jewellery back again.
“The Fairy Tale Fair is most definitely my favourite of all the fairs I attend, there is always a happy vibe, stunning stalls and great cakes, the room is always buzzing and the customers always enjoy themselves. Miss it, miss out!” – Chloe, The Silver Hut.
Remind us a bit about you and what you do/ make….
I make beautiful 925 gemstone and Swarovski jewellery that is inspired by the famous beaches of Brighton and my natural surroundings.
Do you have a best seller? If so what is it?
My Swarovski jewellery always goes down a treat and is great for any special occasion! Also my ‘mini charm’ jewellery made with a whole selection of gemstones, Swarovski crystals and Tibetan silver charm beads are very popular, these make great gifts or little treats for yourself!
What do you enjoy most about your craft?
I find it relaxing and very rewarding, it’s great when a design comes together and makes it from paper to finished piece on my stall….. even better when it goes home with a new owner who loves it just as much as you do!
Do you take part in other craft events (fairs, open houses, markets etc…)?
The Silver Hut stall can be found at many of the Brighton fairs. I regularly attend ‘Brighton Craft Fair’ held at the Friends Meeting House, Ship street and ‘Makers Boutique’ at Brighton Unitarian Church on New Road. Both fairs are full of brilliant Brighton designers and artists with a spectacular array of handcrafted items to sell, they are a real ‘Aladin’s cave’ of treasures!
The Silver Hut is also teaming up with ‘Georgie Arts’ to bring you some stunning bridal collections including brides and bridesmaids hair combs, tiaras and jewellery, which will be available at ‘Belles Bridal Bazaar’ also held at Brighton Unitarian Church, New Road in April. You can find information on all the events that I will be attending on The Silver Hut website or facebook page.
What items and Mother’s day/ Easter gifts will you be selling at The Fairy Tale Fair?
I have a lovely collection which was inspired by our very own Fairy Tale Fair last year with little fairies, toadstools, frog princes and more that I am adding new designs to. I also have some beautiful floral designs currently underway which have lovely summery colours sterling silver charms and pendants. Along with my best sellers there should be something for everyone!
You took part in the last Fairy Tale Fair, did you enjoy it?
LOVED IT!
The Fairy Tale Fair is most definitely my favourite of all the fairs I attend, there is always a happy vibe, stunning stalls and great cakes, the room is always buzzing and the customers always enjoy themselves. Miss it, miss out!
What are your plans/ ambitions for the future? Or have you already achieved them?
I would love to see The Silver Hut grow a little more this year, I am exploring the world of weddings at the moment with Georgie Arts, another Fairy Tale Fair stall holder, it would be great if we could get some wedding orders and expand our businesses a little more. I would also like to make my presence better known on-line and improve my website for all your enjoyment.
You can find all sorts of info including events listings, more about The Silver Hut designer and The Silver Hut shop at….
