What are we fundraising for?
2020 has certainly been an odd year for us all. Obviously due to restrictions all our in person events have been cancelled this year and we’re very sad not to be able to bring you all the fun of the fair and the opportunity to meet our talented makers.
However if you’d like to show your support for our independent makers, and our fair then you can do so by purchasing one of our whimsically themed Christmas mystery boxes. The boxes will contain a selection of goodies made by our talented independent and local creatives so you can still pick up some lovely products like you may have done through visiting our fairs.
What can we expect to find inside the boxes?
The boxes are a mystery and each one will vary but the type of products you can expect to find inside are prints, cards, postcards, badges, Christmas decorations, stationery, or jewellery.
How much are the boxes?
Our Christmas mystery box is £15, and for that you’ll get products inside that add up to over that value in RRP. There will be a selection of pieces from various makers from our fairs and independents – all small businesses in much need of your support during this difficult year. The purchase price includes postage.
When will they be delivered? And can I purchase anywhere in the UK?
The boxes will be dispatched during the week of the 7th December via 1st class Royal Mail delivery. The boxes will be A5 size, and large letter so will easily fit through the letterbox for simple, no contact delivery. Please note delivery is available in the UK only.
Are they suitable for children? Or for my granny?
Yes! The boxes will be made to suit all ages – from kids to grannies! They’ll be whimsically themed so be prepared for Christmas cute-ness. The boxes wouldn’t be suitable for under 5 years old due to small parts. You can pop a note in your order with the age or the recipient if you feel that would be helpful for us to know.
Can I send one as a gift and include a gift message?
Yes, please enter your recipients address in the shipping address. If you’d like to add a gift message too, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order no in the email subject and the gift message you’d like to include.
Why should I buy a box?
Well, who doesn’t want a box of lovely festive cuteness arrive on their doormat on a winters day?!…. And most importantly because you’ll be helping support small businesses who you can’t support in person via events this year. Don’t forget about them and their beautiful creations this Christmas. You’ll also be helping support our fairs and mean we can hopefully return later in 2021 when it is safe to do so.
