Please introduce yourself and your brand….
Hello! I’m Lauren from ‘Lauren’s Art’. I create intricate artworks of places I like to visit. My collection features Brighton, London and New York so far. Each piece celebrates the character of the place with the many dimensions of city life, playfully composed within each image.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
I would describe my work as fun and lighthearted. My illustrations are hand drawn and digitally rendered. Every artwork challenges the perception of scale and reality.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I really enjoy seeing people’s reactions to my artwork- especially when they start to recognise places within them. It’s very rewarding to get a response- especially when most of them take a long time to complete.
What can we expect to find on your stall at The Fairy Tale Fair Easter Special at Patcham Methodist on April 1st? And are you looking forward to taking part?
On my stall you will find lots of colourful framed artworks, prints, tote bags, tea towels and coasters. I will have a few special promotions for this special event and I’m very much looking forward to taking part.
Do you have a best seller?
My new best seller is my Brighton Coasters pack! It has 4 cork-backed coasters of Brighton -featuring the pier, Brighton Pavillion, the wheel/I360 and the bandstand. They make a great gift.
I’m having to continually update my Brighton art to keep up with the ever changing Brighton cityscape!
Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?
In the future I want to make artworks of more places and eventually one for the whole world! But for now, Paris and Rome have been started and I’m hoping to do a San Francisco artwork and maybe one for Hawaii.

What part of Easter do you enjoy the most?
I’m a chocoholic so Easter is one of my favourite times of year! And it’s also nice to have some time off work.
