Please introduce yourself and your brand….
Hi, I’m Karen from While Darcey Sleeps and I design and make crochet toys.
How would you describe your style and your products?
I am heavily influenced by kawaii – the Japanese word for cute! My products are mostly mythical creatures but I also do crochet commissions that are more realistic.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I love my job because of the reaction that my makes get! I love it when customers send video or pictures of their purchases being received.
Do you have a best seller or favourite to make?
My Meghan the unicorn is my favourite, I have made hundreds of versions of it including cake scented.
What are your plans or ambitions for the future?
I would love to develop patterns and kits, plus I have a children’s book I would like to write featuring Darcey and some of the creatures I crochet.

Do you have a motto or favourite quote for inspiration?
I don’t have an inspirational quote but most days I say it’s time for coffee and world domination!
