Today we catch up with Jade of JJ’s Beachcombing Art who we look forward to welcoming back to our Christmas fair this Sunday 5th December at Worthing Charmandean. Find out what to expect from her ahead of the day…
Please introduce yourself and your brand….
Hi my name is Jade Jeffers and I am the artist/maker of all creations made by JJ’s Beachcombing Art.
I have been doing art all my life but started doing Beachcombing Art about 4 years ago. It means I get to enjoy 2 of my favourite things…. walking on the beach and making/producing art.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
My art is fun, quirky, bespoke, individual and natural.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I enjoy being given an idea or finding an idea of a picture and then finding all the relevant items to make the picture work. Sometimes this takes longer than others but I never complete the picture until I am happy with it. I also very much enjoy seeing peoples faces when they first see my art and then when they find the quirky/fun thing I may have added to some of the pictures (birds facing the wrong way, hidden animals etc.)
Do you take orders for commissions?
Yes I do, I love getting commission requests as I like the challenge of making a new picture to the clients specific requirements. I can take requests for commissions at the fair or online before then via my website (see link/details below).
What can we expect to find on your stall at So This is Christmas on Sunday 5th December at Worthing Charmandean? And are you looking forward to taking part?
Lots of new art designs, some nice little stocking fillers and some Christmas and Greeting Cards – and of course me!
I am very much looking forward to taking part in the Fairy Tale Fair – So This is Christmas, it’s always so much fun, well organised and really makes me feel Christmassy
