We welcome Patrick Edgeley today who is a printmaker. We look forward to having him return to Brighton Open Market on Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th November, find out more about his work ahead of the fair…
Please introduce yourself and your brand….
I am a Brighton printmaker, creating hand printed limited edition screen prints.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
I design and print colourful, bold art prints as well as note books, wrapping paper, greeting cards & retro letters sure to brighten up any home! I love retro packaging and Americana and I have a love of typography.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I love designing new work and I really enjoy printing the work by hand, seeing the piece emerge as the payers of colour are laid down.
What can we expect to find on your stall at The Fairy Tale Fair Christmas Special at Brighton Open Market this November? And are you looking forward to taking part?
There’s something to suit all budgets at my stall. I will have everything from greetings cards through wrapping paper to new full sized screen prints. I’ll also have a selection of prints on sale so if you come you may be able to grab a huge bargain as the sale prints start at £20
Do you have a best seller?
My hand printed letters are one of my best sellers, great for kids rooms, or if you’re like me and just love retro type!
Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?
I am working on a new collection of pieces that are 3-D box art, the first series is based around Las Vegas back in time.
Describe your Christmas in 3 words…
Colourful, noisy and relaxing!
