We wanted to let you know about this lovely event happening in Brighton in June as part of peoples day. Craft stalls available now to those that want to apply…
People’s Day is a community event to celebrate the diverse communities that make up Brighton & Hove. On Saturday June 15th from 11am the city centre will be transformed into a street festival showcasing different activities from various communities across the city, including music performances, sporting activities and food dishes from around the world.
Last year attracted over 15,000 residents and visitors along with 55 community and voluntary groups and this year is set to be even better, with 10 exciting Zones bursting with activities for all age groups.
For the first time, City College Brighton & Hove is proud to be hosting the new Country Fayre Zone at their Pelham Street campus in the popular North Laine area just off Trafalgar Street. Transforming the concrete car park into a vibrant country fayre – the zone will be home to family friendly rides and activities, a buzzing marketplace selling locally sourced crafts, produce and vintage clothes, morris dancing (oh yes!), performances from up and coming musicians and much, much more.
