Incey Wincey Studio is the work of designer maker Claire Wilson. With her love of pattern and colour and inspired by nature, Claire brings a collection of work combining stitched and printed textiles in her beautifully muted colour palette. Using wool felt and Liberty fabric, her brooches and hair accessories are the perfect gift especially when paired with her screen prints and cards taken from her botanical drawings.
“Almost twenty years since completing my textiles degree at Winchester School of Art, I picked up an ink pen and began to draw again! Colour is my passion, along with pattern, print, texture and line! I love all of these elements of design, but it all starts with colour. My colour palette tends to be muted and naturally inspired and I love pattern especially when you have to take a closer look to see what it is. I love to print my own work, whether it’s one of my drawings or patterns, I love to mix my own colours and print onto paper and textiles, particularly linen”.
