Hi I’m Jackie, a local artist and my little business is called Planet Jackie Art.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
I’ve evolved from watercolour painting to now having a passion for drawing on my tablet and producing contemporary cards and prints inspired mainly by living by the sea and beautiful Sussex surroundings.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
Love to sit and draw any time, anywhere which is the beauty of digital drawing. I also do pet and house portrait commissions which I really enjoy.
What can we expect to find on your stall at The Fairy Tale Fair Easter Special on Sunday 3rd April at Worthing Charmandean? And are you looking forward to taking part?
Really excited about having my first stall at the Fairy Tale Easter Fair and share my art with you all. I’ll be selling my contemporary art prints (some framed) and cards. I’ll also be taking enquiries for anyone interested in a pet or house portrait with examples of previous commissions on my stall.
Do you have a best seller?
My best seller is a black line art drawing (with a splash of colour) of a selection of Brighton pubs. I think it has been so popular because it brings back happy memories of good times spent in the various pubs!
Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?
My dream is to give up my ‘proper’ job (I work for the Fire Service) and spend my days drawing (preferably on a beach!)

It’s never to late to be what you might have been 💙
