Tell us a bit about you and what you do/ make….
We are Ali & Jam AKA hello DODO! We are playful printmakers based in Brighton and our one aim is to make people smile! :o)
We design and handprint our own range of screenprints and tote bags. We also have a lovely range of greetings cards, relief prints, digital prints and badges. We are passionate about bold and bright design, clever wordplay and visual puns.
What festive gifts and creations will you be selling at The Fairy Tale Fair?
As well as all our usual products we will be selling our fantastic Love Santa tote bags! This fun festive design is also available as cards. We will also have our already popular Christmas Party Animal cards!
You took part in our last Fairy Tale Fair, did you enjoy it and did you find your creations were popular with visitors?
We loved it!! There was such a lovely community atmosphere and visitors seemed to stay for ages, chatting to makers, eating yummy cakes and getting their kid’s faces painted (the most AMAZING facepainting we’ve ever seen!) The hello DODO products went down very well and we got such fantastic feedback from everyone :o)
Will you be taking part in other events over the festive period (fairs, open houses, markets etc…)?
Yes loads!! We are doing different fairs most weekends before Christmas, you can see all our upcoming events here. We will also be part of the amazing AT Open House, 42 Hendon Street, Brighton, BN2 0EG.
