“I am David Freeman, founder and proprietor of DF Productions. I have been a professional photographer for over 35 years. Ten years ago I started turning my images into retail products and have successfully published two books and my Brighton and Sussex calendars are now in their 8th year. During the Covid pandemic and subsequent lockdowns, I found I had time to revisit my original passion for illustrations and have now included these to sell at a commercial / retail level as limited edition prints. Products featuring my wildlife illustrations will be available from spring 2023. Unfortunately Christmas 2022 has come too soon for these to be ready as it takes up to 3 months to complete a single drawing. My ambition is to make DF Productions a household name associated with the natural world and its conservation through my landscape photography and my ‘Endangered Planet’ series of wildlife illustrations. It is my hope to have an exhibition to launch the illustrations and their respective products, within the next 18 months”.
If I were to have any kind of life quote it would be the one that my mother gave to me when I was a boy and it is simply this; ‘You have this life but once, make the most of it’. Which is what I try to do every day.
