Today we catch up with Mrs Bramble ahead of welcoming her this Sunday 2nd December at Worthing Charmandean…
Please introduce yourself and your brand….
Hello, my name is Suzanne and I love to make things as my alter ego Mrs Bramble.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
I create textile designs using the free motion embroidery and applique techniques among others. I especially love to write with my sewing machine so often incorporate this in my designs.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
The most enjoyable bit for me is coming up with the new designs.
What can we expect to find on your stall at So This is Christmas in aid of St Barnabas on Sunday 2nd December? And are you looking forward to taking part?
This is the first Christmas Fairy Tale fair I have attended as a seller and I am really looking forward to a fun and festive day. I will be bringing a range of different designs suitable as gifts etc. I will also be taking orders for personalised items too.
Do you have a best seller?
My bestsellers are notebooks and lavender tags. Anything seaside themed is popular too.
Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?
In 2019 I plan to stop selling my designs in my shop, Mrs Bramble & Friends, to concentrate on fairs and online, specialising in personalised items made to order. I am also excited to start selling kits designed by myself, as well as fabric packs and buttons.
Do you have a motto or inspirational quote?
I love an inspirational or motivational quote and often use them in my work, I even have a pinterest board entitled Wise Words! A favourite is ‘What’s meant to be will find a way’.
Describe your Christmas in 3 words…
Simple, quiet, relaxing
