Hello I’m Kirsti Davidson founder of Plainly Patterned. We produce stationery products including greeting cards, prints and more recently cushions.
Initially I hand draw each concept; once I’m happy with them, I manipulate them in Photoshop or Illustrator if they are paper products.
We launched our first range of greeting cards at Progressive Greetings Live Trade Show in London in 2013 and have been expanding and taking on custom and commissioned orders. Our most successful range has been our typographic Christmas cards.
I love creating characters and seeing them develop into a product from an initial scribble!
This is our first time at the Fairy Tale Fair and we will be selling some Christmas themed paper bunting which is a mix of printed lettering and glittering flowers. I’d love to expand this line and move into more soft furnishings.
Christmas to me in 5 words is Family, Glitter, Decorations, Mince Pies & Films!
