Please introduce yourself and your brand….

Behind the scenes, Giddy Prints are Helen and Sue who have a love of interiors and design. Helen studied Fine Art at UAL and Sue has long had a creative streak waiting to be unleashed when the right opportunity came along. We create statement pieces for the home in the form of handmade cushions and lampshades using our in-house designed fabric.

How would you describe your style and your creations?

Giddy Prints has a bold and colourful style. Our products show our playful use of colour and pattern and each of our pieces is a one off. The fabric originates as a hand drawn piece of art, which for us is a really important element, that we carefully make into a repeat pattern that works in print. We use high quality fabrics on which the designs are eco-printed and every piece is lovingly handmade.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

We love taking a piece of art and turning it into a 3D object, seeing it in repeat and bringing it to life. We really enjoy the making aspect of what we do and this was an important part of why we decided to set up Giddy Prints.

What can we expect to find on your stall at The Fairy Tale Fair Brighton on November 13th at Brighton Open Market?

We are excited to be showcasing our full collection of handmade cushions and lampshades (in various sizes) at the Fairy Tale Fair. We are able to make to order if we do not have the item left that you would like to buy.

Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?

We will be spending the next year growing our business, increasing our product range, and exploring exciting opportunities to get our products out there! There could even be a pop up shop in store…!

Every accomplishment starts with a decision to try.
