All our products are hand made in Brighton, from materials sourced from UK suppliers, such as the Tweed from the Isle of Harris, and the vegetable-tanned bridle leather.
Our collections include bespoke dog coats, dog walker’s bags, made to measure dog collars, leads and hand warmers. And, for when you get home and want to play or snuggle up with your best friend, dog toys, luxury throws and heat pads.
Brighton is a fantastic place to live for dog owners as we have the countryside, the coast and a dog-friendly city centre, all within an easy stroll. It thrills me to see dogs on the Downs or in coffee shops wearing collars and leads I have made.
Although I grew up with dogs, it wasn’t until we brought Neo – our Spanish Water dog – home at 8 weeks old, that I really felt what it was to be a dog owner and the joy and responsibilities it brings. I struggled to find a strong, durable, secure and stylish collar that really suited him, so I decided to make my own. So, two years ago I completed several courses in leather work and handbag design.
I started out making collars for Neo, which led to commissions to make collars and matching leads, and coats for his friends, and a dogwalker bag for their owners. Our Harris Tweed collars are really popular as there is a choice of leather tones and widths, and a wide range of Harris Tweeds to personalize them. The Harris Tweed I buy is available in a wide choice of vibrant colours. Not only do dogs have unique and handsome outfits but they also hard-wearing.
One of the things I like best about Mann and Moon is the opportunity to meet other dog owners who love their dogs, finding out about the different breeds, their characters, stories, shapes and sizes and the cute photos of them modeling their outfits.
New for the Fairytale fair are a Harris tweed dog squeaker toy and personalised leather tags for your dogs collar or keyring.
