Today we welcome one of our wonderful fair supporters for The Fairy Tale Fair at Brighton Fringe this Saturday – Move Revolution. We can’t wait to welcome them (and their fairy money) on the day, but first lets find out a little more about them….
Tell us a bit about Move Revolution?
Move Revolution was set up in July 2009. We had one small room but a host of big ideas. We set out to be the estate agent of choice where we operated. And we had a business plan that embraced the advantages of the Internet, replaced the need for High Street shops with offices and, crucially, recognised that better customer service was a key point of difference. Moving on a few years and now operating in the majority of the South East, our Brighton Area Sales Manager Alex Goodman comes with an interesting back story as he was a cocktail waiter in his late teens (see his cocktail blog), and then went on to manage a prominent venue in the centre of Brighton. He grew tired of only being busy on Friday and Saturday evenings so he decided to join his father in the traditional estate agency business he owned. He fell in love with estate agency and over the course of ten years rose to be company director before his Dad decided to sell the business and retire. Alex had wanted to develop a forward thinking business in a new area, and discovered Move Revolution at the point when we were about to commit to expansion in the Sussex coast area. He was drawn to the way the business is run, and felt strongly about being a big part of the businesses plans for growth. The rest is history, as they say!
What do you enjoy most about working as part of Move Revolution?
Alex enjoys the dynamic nature of the business, and the dedication to excellent customer service that runs through it. He also loves working in the Brighton area, and goes to the Street Diner in Brighthelm Gardens every Friday to enjoy a lunchtime treat. He loves the Japanese and Mexican dishes in particular.
