Say Hello to… Stoats & Weasels

BrightonNo commentsNovember 10, 2017FTFadmin
We’re pleased to welcome back Lisa of Stoats & Weasels who will join us on Sunday 26th November at Brighton Open Market. Find out more about her and her illustrations…
Please introduce yourself and your brand….
I’m Lisa Bamford, and I work under the name of Stoats & Weasels. My favourite quote, and motto for life is: “We do not stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing.”
How would you describe your style and your creations?
I create playful, colourful, and sometimes romantic, designs for gift packs of button badges and fridge magnets, greetings cards and prints. The badges and magnets are made on my trusty badge making machine in my studio, and I produce my own archival quality giclee prints on my fancy pants printer.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I really enjoy my day job being a graphic designer, but I also enjoy the creative freedom that making my own work brings and being able to express myself though it.  I love it when my work makes people smile too, I think that’s what I like best.

What can we expect to find on your stall at The Fairy Tale Fair Christmas Special at Brighton Open Market on Sunday 26th November? And are you looking forward to taking part?
There will be lots of greetings cards, including Christmas cards at bargain prices, art prints, fun badges and magnets, plus a few other stocking fillers.

Do you have a best seller?
My Brighton and Great British Life menu prints and cards are always popular.

Describe your Christmas in 3 words…
Hotmincepies & icecream
