Today we speak to Kate of Grace and the Monkey. We can’t wait to meet her and her cute knitted characters on Sunday 6th December at Worthing Charmanadean.
Please introduce yourself and your brand….
My name is Kate and I am the owner of Grace and the Monkey. Grace and the Monkey is named after my daughter and her favourite toy. A monkey was also the first thing I knitted! i design and handmade knitted creatures and have just had one of my designs turned into our first cushion range.
How would you describe your style and your creations?
Knitted! Cute, individual creatures who all have their own personalities and names!
What do you enjoy most about your work?
The knitting part, designing new ideas and creatures.
What can we expect to find on your stall at So This is Christmas Worthing on December 6th? And are you looking forward to taking part?
Really looking forward to taking part. Its a fair that I have enjoyed visiting in the past and always wanted a stall at. The stall will have a range of knitted creatures and cushions.
Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?
To take over the world with knitted creatures!
