My name is Luci and I am a mum of 3 gorgeous girls.
I started making Tutu’s and Tutu dresses at the end of 2013 as a hobby for my daughters and a friends daughter and loved making them so much that i started to think up of other ideas for accessories to go with the dresses that still included tulle.
I soon hoped that I could turn my hobby into a business and made up the name LuciCoTulle, a spin on my name the material and the word couture.
I set up a facebook ( facebook.com/lucicotulle ) and instagram ( instagram.com/lucicotulle ) page and carried on researching new ideas for accessories, but as we went into 2014 the majority of it was taken up by planning my wedding and I couldn’t put 100% into the business, so unfortunately I felt it had to take a step back and wait for 2015 which is now Hurrahh !!!
I would describe LuciCoTulle as ultimately fancy dress for girls but it can be very versatile with style’s from fairy princess to rock princess and future plans of girl power superheroes, baby girl and birthday girl……….
I have a few new creations and plenty of new ideas that i’m looking forward to get out there in the near future.
I can’t wait to take part in the fair tale fair, I had to postpone last year and loved the feel of the venue when I came down to show my support but felt very disappointed that I wasn’t there with my own stall.
LuciCoTulle excites me because the list of possibilities and idea’s is endless not a day goes past where I don’t think of something new id love to try and new places to take the business.
I love hearing other peoples ideas for example- animated characters and then trying to interpret them into dresses.
I am hoping that some time in the near future I can invest in an embroidery machine and start making LuciCoTulle T.shirts and vest tops to go alongside my Tutus this making them even more versatile for all ages and able to be more personalised
I also have two slogans that I would like to personalise on things
” I’m/your just TUTU cute ” and ” I’m/your beau TUTU ful” to go along with the LuciCoTulle name.
I am also looking towards having a range of girl bedroom home wear accessories that the start of which maybe on my stall in march alongside Tutus skirts ,dresses , wings , hair accessories, and my two newest creations
LuciCoTulle tutu ballet bags and my Wishlets which originated from an idea in my own wedding planning and I’m hoping to do well being at pocket money prices.
I look forward to seeing you all at the fairy tale fair, please come and say hello
I am pretty sure you wont miss me as ill be nestled within a rainbow of tulle in the workshop room along with some ‘make your own wands’ for anyone that wants to create their own bit of magic ***
