Please introduce yourself and your brand…..

Hi, I’m Alex and I am the solo designer, maker and seller behind MegaLilyDesign. I produce a range of hand drawn designs and then use details from these to produce a range of resin jewellery, cards and paper art.

How would you describe your style and your creations…..

My style is rooted in my love of nature’s striking colour palette. I particularly love butterflies and flowers, so most of my designs are bright and bold, although I have some more muted and subtle designs too! The jewellery is my main focus and ranges from tiny rings and pins to bold statement pendants. Cards and Paper Cut Butterflies complete the range and are all hand made and decorated with metallic inks.

What do you most enjoy about your work…..

Working as MegaLilyDesign is a lovely contrast to my alternate work in healthcare. I most love just being able to be creative and to make pieces of art and jewellery, and it means a great deal to me when people like my work. I particularly love having the chance to meet customers face to face at Fairs as well as getting to meet some really talented fellow creatives.

What can we expect to find on your stall at So This is Christmas in aid of St Barnabas on Sunday 3rd December, and are you looking forward to taking part?…

I am really excited to be taking part! The main focus of my stall will be a range of my jewellery pieces. All my jewellery uses hand decorated details from my original designs, sealed under crystal clear, hand poured resin. No two pieces are identical so you can be sure of an individual gift or treat for yourself! My jewellery range starts with little pins and adjustable rings at £5 – £7 to intricate statement pendants at £25.

Do you have a best seller?…….

My”Tropical Flowers” and “Clematis & Lily” designs have been popular although I have no specific best selling item as no two pieces are identical.

Do you have any plans or ambitions for the future?….

It’s been an exciting and challenging year in equal measure! My ambitions for life are simply to be happy and healthy! For MegaLilyDesign I would love to expand my online shop and to continue to meet lovely new customers at Fairs across Sussex.
