Say Hello to… A Little Twist on Wood

craftNo commentsNovember 10, 2017Claire
Today we welcome a new seller to our fair, A Little Twist on Wood, who join us at Brighton Open Market on Sunday 26th November.
My name is Steve and I am an army veteran who uses carving and creating as a therapy and I  can often be found tinkering late at night when I can’t sleep.
A Little Twist on Wood is about everything wood with maybe some little twists!
Fairy houses are something I am told frequently I excel at and I’m a stickler for attention to detail. I take great pride in my work and will go that extra mile to make sure my customers are happy. Apart from everything fairy, butterflies and dragonflies are some of the wide variety of items beautifully created out of locally sourced wood.
My creations are something that bring pleasure to young and old alike.
I still get a great feeling when somebody says “WOW”. I love making people happy. I absolutely love taking people back to their childhood days of fairies at the bottom of the garden.
Very much looking forward to participating in the fairy tale fair.
On my stall will be a wide variety of handcrafted wooden items such as fairy houses, fairy mail boxes, butterflies, fairy doors, Christmas decorations etc.
My best sellers are my fairy houses and my butterflies. In the future I would love to carve and create full time and be able to make a living doing it. All we have to do is decide what to do with the time that is given us.
3 words that describe Christmas for us: Family, love and laughter
