Please introduce yourself and your brand….

Hello, I am Marielle and my brand is Sunshine & Salt. Sunshine & Salt was born out of a passion for home and kitchenware with a difference. My aim was to create unique and quirky homeware using everyday items and making them prettier. The way I see it is mundane products needn’t be mundane they have the potential to be exciting and beautiful and that’s the aim of Sunshine & Salt.

How would you describe your style and your creations?

Colourful, quirky and fun. I have a background in textile design so I have always been passionate about colour and pattern and I think this shines through in my products.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

I love designing my napkin rings, the possibilities are endless with this product. I really enjoy choosing all the different colours and materials for them. When a customer sends me pictures them being used at their events it makes me so happy!

What can we expect to find on your stall at The Fairy Tale Fair Christmas Special at Brighton Open Market on Sunday 8th December? And are you looking forward to taking part?

This will be my first year taking part in the Fairy Tale Fair and I am thrilled! I will be selling my new range of wooden Christmas tree decorations along with my ever-popular napkin ring range and etched cooking utensils which all make fabulous gifts!

Do you have a best seller?

My hanging vase is my all-time best selling product. I have updated it this year so you can now buy it with Christmas inspired sparkly gold & red cords as well as the pastel shades.
